CORPORATE INFORMATION:
Plycon, Inc. is a computer performance parts company located in Valdosta,
Georgia. The company was founded in 1995, and later incorporated in 1999.
Plycon offers products via direct sales to local retail customers, convenient
internet based ordering for non-local customers, and supplies numerous
resellers worldwide.
Plycon is one of the oldest Cooling and Performance vendors on the
internet, and is responsible for a vast number of innovations and product
introductions related to overclocking and performance computing.
Plycon, Inc. is also a parent company for a number of spin off enterprises
that currently share retail, warehouse, and shipping resources with it.
Facilities consist of a 4000 sf building housing our retail showroom
and mail order warehouse.

Originally, when Plycon first opened in 1995, our primary focus
was on building high end C.A.D. workstations, and high performance
gaming decks for local customers. This specialization on performance
computing naturally progressed to overclocking and cooling. We became
known in the region for having all the latest cooling gadgets, and
the best overclocking equipment. After several years of phone calls,
pleas, and email requests from non-local customers, we opened our
website in 1999 during the great Intel Celeron 300A overclocking
era. Don't smirk - getting 450MHz out of a 300 MHz Celeron 300A was
awesome at the time! ;-) |

Since then we have changed dramatically. We've grown from a specialized
local retail store into one of the oldest and well respected global
specialty performance shops currently on the internet. We're responsible
for numerous innovations and product introductions to the global
performance community. Many of the most popular heatsinks (Alpha
Novatech, Kanie, etc), accessories like machine made Rounded Cables,
CPU spacers, Fan Adapters, Trace Tape, etc. were first seen at Plycon.
We're even responsible for naming some of them (ex. "Golden
Orb"). |
We've been mentioned numerous times on national TV, on national radio,
have appeared in several magazines with world-wide distributions, and
routinely exchange ideas with, and beta-test new designs for heatsink
companies. Our success can also be measured by the number of other businesses
that have blatantly copied our various web site designs, our product
lines, and even directly taken our product descriptions and used them
on their own sites without even changing our wording!
| We have customers from all over the world, and routinely ship
orders to Europe, South America, and the Middle East. We supply numerous
resellers (domestic and worldwide) with our products allowing them
to offer their local customers the latest in performance hardware
and cooling solutions. Regardless of our global reach and excellent
reputation - we're still a Mom and Pop computer store at heart, and
we always prefer a personal approach when dealing with our customers
(either local or web based). |
