These high quality cables are coated with a flexible PVC layer for added shielding and wiring protection. As with other rounded cables, their
primary benefit is to minimize clutter inside your case, and help to promote better air flow for better cooling. As with all SATA cables, they provide for
a 150 M Byte/s maximum transfer rate
As noted, these cables are also UV Reactive - that is, when exposed to UV light (say from a UV Cold Cathode) - they glow. A very nice
touch when used in a windowed case/enclosure. Each cable comes with plastic end covers for extra protection.
