Alpha Novatech's 40mm x 40mm Wingfin makes an excellent passive heatsink for any chipset.

These high quality Alpha Novatech heatsinks (made from microforged aluminum) are ideal to place on chipsets for passive cooling. They measure 40mm L x 40mm W x 10mm H. You would need some method of attaching these to the chipset. We strongly suggest any type of thermal epoxy (which can be found in our Thermal Grease and Epoxy section).


While nice as passive 'sinks - we've also found them to be ideal to combine with our Sunon 40mm x 20mm fans as shown in the image to the left. You would just need to visit your hardware store for some 25mm long screws to secure the fan to the 'sink. Again, you would need some type of thermal epoxy to secure this beast to your chipset.
