The PAL-14 is designed for use with 1U Server cases (or for video chipset overclocking if you so desire). It features the standard high quality Alpha fin design. It uses a traditional clip system, but the 'sink is designed to allow you to shift the clip's location by 3mm to either side. This is important for use on dual processor motherboards

This heatsink is designed to be used with Intel Socket 7 or early socket 370 CPUs (non-flip chip). It requires some assembly. A small packet of Zinc Oxide thermal compound is included with the unit.

The basic package comes with the heatsink, screws for mounting the included 60mm fan on top of the 'sink (21.9CFM @ 36.5 dBA), the heatsink clip, and some thermal grease (Zinc Oxide). We suggest using Arctic Silver III over the supplied grease for the best possible performance.
