The SI-120 is an improved (and lighter) variant of the impressive XP-120. The new SI-120 is designed to handle
the latest high power processors that consume 100+ watts of power (including “Dual Core” CPU's from AMD and Intel).
The SI improves on all previous Thermalright designs. Installation is extremely easy with
either CPU type. Fan installations are also extremely easy using Thermalright's perfected fan clip system.
Be sure that this 'sink will fit in your case, and on your board before ordering it. No returns or refunds will be accepted or offered on this heatsink due to
size/compatibility issues.
SI-120 Motherboard Compatibility Information:
Intel P4 socket 478 platform: The SI-120 is designed to fit all Intel Pentium 4 socket 478 motherboards.
So far, Thermalright has found only one board that is not compatible with SI-120. The ABIT AI7 board is not compatible
with the heatsink due to the board's socket orientation.
Intel P4 socket T (LGA775) platform: With a customized LGA 775 adapter kit (available when you add the heatsink to your shopping cart),
the SI-120 can be installed on a Intel Pentium 4 socket T motherboard. So far, Thermalright has not found any 775 board that is
not compatible with SI-120.
AMD socket 754/939/940 platform: The SI-120 is designed to fit all AMD socket 754/939/940 motherboards. The only motherboard issue Thermalright has found so far is with the Chaintech VNF4 Ultra s939 as
one of the capacitors gets in the way of the wire clip to lock into the RM.

Thermalright recommends strongly the Panaflo 120mm Low Output Fan for use with the SI-120. Specifications of the fan are shown below.
