The SK-6 is the heatsink that made Thermalright a contender in the performance cooling
market. Since introducing the SK-6, they have continued to innovate and have
consistently produced some of the best coolers. The SK-6 features 70 super thin copper
fins soldered to the heatsink's base for excellent heat transfer. This cooler has almost
one square foot of cooling area contained in it's small footprint!
The basic package comes with the heatsink, two sets of wire clips to hold a 60mm
fan on top of the 'sink (one set of clips is for standard 60mm x 25mm fans, while
the other larger set is for a 60mm x 38mm fan), the heatsink clip, and some thermal
transfer pads. We suggest using thermal grease over the supplied pads for the best
possible performance.
You can find a wide selection of 60mm fans to equip your SK-6 with in our 60mm Fan Section. Please note
that you'll need a medium to high airflow fan on the unit to get the best possible performance due to it's 60mm base footprint. If you want super quiet cooling
you would need to look at an 80mm based sink with a quiet 80mm fan.
Also note that this cooler is made of copper - which means that the copper will tarnish.
