It's Shiny! It's Massive! It uses 92mm Fans for it's active cooling component! Did we mention it's friggin' huge? Thermalright has again introduced a new high performance heatsink the makes performance users drool. The XP improves on all previous Thermalright designs - and weighs noticeably less than their previous offers. It fits on all Socket 478 boards using the stock Intel retention bracket or LGA 775 boards using a special adapter. For AMD® Athlon™ 64/Opteron boards, a special bracket is included. Installation is extremely easy with either CPU type.


Be sure that this 'sink will fit in your case, and on your board before ordering it. No returns or refunds will be accepted or offered on this heatsink due to size/compatibility issues.

Per Thermalright: "The XP-90 is designed to fit all AMD socket 754/939/940 motherboards and Intel Pentium 4 socket 478 motherboards. So far, we have not found any board that is not compatible with the XP-90."

If you want - they do make a larger version of this heatsink that uses 120mm fans - the XP-120. Please note that the 120mm version does not fit on a whole lot of motherboards....
