This fan comes in a small retail box with screws and a 3 pin to 4 pin adapter. A thermal probe is attached to the fan, and allows the fan to adjust it's speed (and airflow) based on the temperature detected.

Temperature and Fan Speeds:

85 C - 3100 RPM, 40 CFM @ 34 dBA.
65 C - 2600 RPM, 33 CFM @ 29 dBA.
45 C - 2100 RPM, 27 CFM @ 23 dBA.
25 C - 1800 RPM, 22 CFM @ 18 dBA.
