This unit can perform three duties - that is, you can use it to mount a 3.5" hard drive in an empty 5.25" drive bay if you need the bay for space, you can cool any hard drive that is mounted in the unit, or you can just use the cooler as a bay cooler for general cooling of your case.

The unit mounts directly to your hard drive and provides active cooling with two fans (3800 RPM, 28 CFM each).

Installation is easy and the unit comes with a power connector to make attachment easy depending on your available power supply connections.
