Important Note - this is a unique keyboard and by it's very design - it might
take some getting used to. Plycon will not accept them back, nor offer refunds for
them once sold simply because you "don't like it". We will replace defective
Half-Keyboards within our warranty period.
Students, CAD users, gamers, or anyone who regularly has to use a number pad, a WACOM
art tablet, or a joystick will appreciate the benefit of using just one hand for keying,
while your free hand is able to use the input device of your choice.
On the unit the left-hand keys can become the missing right-hand keys by using the
spacebar as a toggle switch. This re-mapping occurs only as long as the spacebar is depressed.
A corner key switches the keyboard between number pad, navigation (cursor and Page Up/Down),
or function-key mode, while certain special characters (such as @) are typed by hitting Shift twice.
All of these combos are color coded to help you out - left-hand letters are printed in big white type on the keys,
right-hand letters in smaller white type, numbers in yellow, and navigation keys in blue.
The Half-keyboard comes in a full retail box with a complete instruction manual in English and French.
The unit also comes with a one-year warranty through the manufacturer. As the toggles are all hardwired into the keyboard - it
requires no software to use - simply a USB port and a compatible operating system on a PC or MAC.
